Customer Stories Guidelines
Why you should add a story?
Your story can inspire someone else to adopt Frappe products and this supports the growth of the Frappe ecosystem. If you are a Frappe Partner, contributing success stories help you showcase your expertise on your partner profile page, and earn the expertise across industries and Frappe apps which can help potential customers find you. But before you add a story, please read the following instructions.
Name your story
The title is the first thing that anyone reads to decide whether or not to read your story. Add a brief title summarising the impact of the Frappe product on the customer’s company. For example, "Replacing SAP and Tally with ERPNext at Swarnam Group", is a good title as it can attract relevant readers.
Project details
Basic details: Fill in the customer’s company name and about section in 2-3 lines. Include their region, country, and industry to make them easily searchable with filters.
Challenges, benefits & impact: This is the most important part. Mention the story of the customer from start to finish, share as many technical details as you can as it can help readers from the similar industry build trust. Share quantifiable impact preferably in numbers. For example, "The customer saved 75% fees in software licensing fees by switching to open source.
Don’t forget to add all the tools/products the customer was previously using, and current Frappe products and modules implemented. These will increase the discovery of your story using filters in the list view.
Add relevant images
The cover image should ideally be in a 16:9 ratio. The brand logo should ideally be in a 1:1 ratio, i.e, a square. Make sure the logo is visible on a white background. Don’t submit a white png logo.
Do not submit AI generated, animated, casual team group photos or any such images for the cover image of the story. Cover image must represent the company, act as a banner. Eg. factory photo, equipment, etc. The cover image should not have any branding on it, no logos or creative changes.
General guidelines
Storify your content. Make sure it has a beginning, middle and end and that it’s interesting to read. Don’t mention the partner company name multiple times. The partner name is mentioned on the story page and it is consequently listed on your partner page.
Do not to use AI, it makes all the stories sound the same. Honestly written, brief points help communicate reliability to anyone reading.
Don't forget to add a customer testimonial as this increases the credibility of your story.
Frappe team has the rights to approve or reject stories that either do not meet the guidelines. Frappe team can reach out to the author of the story for additional details to verify the credibility of the story if necessary.
